This month I decided to enter the Page Maps contest sponsored by Express the Moment. I use Page Maps often for inspiration, but have never been organized or confident enough to enter their contests.
Here's my interpretation of the sketch. I've peeked over on their blog and have seen many of the other fabulous entries and feel like mine is pretty simplistic, but I think it reflects my style and I really like this color combination so I'm pleased.
The journaling reads This makes it okay for you to get bigger. This is a moment I'll always remember. This is one of the best things about being your mom. September 4, 2009 Approaching your second birthday. This is about the time that it was all about mommy. I love being the center of your universe and hope you know I love you to pieces.

I think this is beautiful! I too love the colors - a combination we should use more often. I'm getting kind of tired of the pinks, blues and greens that seem to show up most often on the pages I do :)
